A half inch thick cut of juicy gammon joint. Cured in our lightly salted homemade brine. Like bacon it must be cooked via pan frying before it can be eaten. The steaks generally have a small strip of fat on one edge which adds to the overall flavour. Ideally fried for breakfast or dinner. Best served with mashed potatoes.
Sold by the half kilo, ~200 gram steaks.
